Unless by some miracle, I am definitely not going to make the Be the First deadline this time around. My writing of the Omina project hasn't ground to a halt, but slowed down enough that I'll be lucky if I can even be done with first draft my mid-April.

It's really frustrating that stress and mental health is doing this to the progress I was making. It's frustrating, because I'm so close, more than 75 percent done! However, I have to listen to my body, and I need to not push myself at the moment, not even with things I like, so it's just how it's gotta be.

Maybe I'll hit that stride again before I'm done, maybe the last 20 percent will just be me struggling to finish, we'll see. Whether it be one or the other, this project is gonna get finished, I simply won't stand for it otherwise.

Beating myself up over things is definitely a tendency I have and one I'm trying very hard to put away, especially in regard to my writing.
