3 chapters (45 pages) into my novel reread and so far, very satisfied. Corrected some minor things, but haven't been heavy on the editing at all, not because I couldn't, but because I really wanted to just enjoy this first reading of the story in its entirety.

It's not exactly difficult. I really love this story a lot. It's so gratifying.



LATER ADDITION:

Up to chapter 9 now. It's still holding up, the development of mood and the atmosphere seemingly working okay. I hope to get to read the remaining 70-ish pages today, before dinner.

My love for my main girl, Sylvie, honestly knows no bounds.

First read-through accomplished.

Eight hours worth of reading. No wonder my brain is mush.

I really like this story, and I think it has a lot of potential, the character development is the most solid I've ever done, I think.

I think, maybe, the last chapter needs a lot of work, but that can also just be me who's been sitting at the computer for almost ten hours straight reading this shit and getting overly critical in the final stretch, so I'll look at the final two chapters separately tomorrow and see if they say what I want them to.

After that, it's a question of finding beta readers. I already have one ready after New Year, and I'm hoping for two-three different ones, at least. We'll see how that hunt goes down.

Can't believe I just read my own novel in a day, though. My eyes are so tired, hahahaha.
