No pretty formatting today, just this very brief note that: I have been recommended for disability and I am one click on a red button away from getting it, which means I'll probably have my first payment due in January at the latest.

I can't believe this. And I don't know how I feel about it. So much of my identity has been strung up on the struggle I've had with the system the past ten years. It feels almost frightening to let go of it.

Luckily, this gives me plenty of time to get used to it and work with myself in this new situation.

So. Just wanted to update you guys about the outcome.
