saturday.

I'm currently sitting outside on our terrasse with candles lit and a couple of solar-fueled lamps going and it's such a nice temperature right now, for the first time today, pretty much. The heat is killing me. I get drowsy and irritable. I get moody and frustrated, more than I normally would be at the same things. And summer hasn't even fucking begun for real yet.

I've been struggling the past couple of days with maintaining focus, picking something to read, watch, work on. I didn't get either the Moor's Pavane fic done today nor looked at my Omina project, though I currently have the file open on my laptop which is, obviously, with me out here, so I might get some work on that done tonight anyway. One can hope.

I'd like to have it read over till Monday, so I might be able to ask K. to print it for me at work. 341 pages is a lot for our ancient printer that takes a minute a page and makes so much fucking noise. If she prints on both sides of the paper, it's 170~ish pages and I know for a fact she's printed that much for her own private use before, so shouldn't be a problem, I think. Though, gotta ask.

We had baked potatoes again tonight with garlic butter and a couple of fried eggs. It was delicious.

Tomorrow, I'm most likely going with K. to see her parents for tea. Not staying too long, because I honestly don't have spoons for that, but just getting out of the apartment for a bit and see something else would be nice.

On Monday, I'm luckily seeing my friend, Sa. She's finished exams for this semester, so she has the time again to hang out. We'll be having tea. If K. can't print my fic at work Monday, I might attempt to take it to the local print shop that's on the way to Sa's place. Just need to get out of the house early enough to do both things... Then, I could also show Sa. the fic. She's studying English at university, so she'll probably tear my English apart, hahaha, but I'd love for her to just... see it. See what I've managed to finish, do.

Still amazingly proud of that fic, not gonna lie.

The fan we bought yesterday works like a charm and really keeps my room cool at night. It's going to be a life-safer over summer, I can tell. When we don't have aircondition in most houses in Denmark, this is the best we can really manage.

It's okay, honestly.
