SUPER MARIO BROS. TAP DANCE MEDLEY - DEMI REMICK

In honor of managing half a Postmodern Jukebox show last night, and unfortunately not this part.

WHAT'S GOING ON IN RL
Big news: I went to a concert last night. I managed half of it. >Not because it was bad, it was amazing(!), but because the sheer amount of people there and the loud, loud, loud music had my head spinning by the intermission, so K. and I gave up on the rest and went home, so I wouldn't get overloaded.

However, the hour that I saw? It was everything I had dreamed it would be! The cast was Casey Abrams as host (he did sing a few numbers, but nothing big) and then the two main vocal names, Rogelio Couglas Jr. and Maris supported by Demi Remick on tap. The quality (as well as the volume, wow) was so high. Started out with an amazing rendition of Thriller, then Maris did a number I didn't get the name of, but it was really good... Other musical highlights were Douglas Jr. singing All of Me (AMAZING, I CRIED), Maris covering Habits (not the best performance of the night, but it had a smooth, delicious ending) and then, finishing the first half strongly with Imagine Dragons' Radioactive. Douglas Jr. did beatboxing and everything to match the mood, it was absolutely superb. All throughout I honestly thought Demi in those tap shoes outdid all of them with so much energy, spirit, personality and X factor. Wow, wow, wow.

I was sad I didn't get to see the rest, but proud I managed to take good care of myself and listen to my own mental health needs.

But it was also a start. A start to me getting out again, seeing things, experiencing things. Next up, Sofie Hagen comedy show and Don Quixote ballet.

Don't know what I'm doing today, except I am going to relax with some writing. However, I have several ideas floating around and I don't know which one to go for. Luxury problem, really, but a problem nonetheless.
